The growing demand for housing in Nairobi and its environs has led many investors to build apartments.
Many individual homeowners prefer the outskirts or neighbourhoods with building codes restricting high-rise apartments. A photo has gone viral online showing the extreme measures a maisonette owner went to after an apartment was built next door.
