How to check your your NHIF balance on mobile phone code 21101

You can check your your NHIF account status on your mobile phone using these steps:

1. Open your phone messaging application and compose a new SMS message
2. Type the letters “ID”, space, then your National ID number (or passport number if applicable) for example ID 12345678
3. Send the message to 21101
4. SMS charge service is Ksh 10 above normal rates.
5. Once you do that, you will receive and SMS with the balance for your NHIF Contribution.
