How to recover your forgotten/lost NSSF details

  1. Go to your nearest National Social Security Fund (NSSF) offices branch or Huduma centre to make the application to obtain your lost NSSF credentials.
    • If making your application from the Huduma center visit the NSSF desk to make the application.
  2. Present the your National identity card to the NSSF officer for verification
  3. The NSSF officer will assess the information and re-generate your lost NSSF credentials number.This application attract no charge and you will be issued with your NSSF Member No immediately.
  4. You will then be issued with a Encoded NSSF PIN Key and username details from the NSSF offices.You will use these details to log in to your NSSF Self Service portal.

 

 

Change password/ Activate your account
  1. Once issued with a Pin Key from NSSF office, visit the NSSF Self Service portal
  2. Navigate to the Member Self Service links or Employer Self service and click on the Recover forgotten/lost credentials member
  3. Enter the Username : The username you have provided during your initial registration to this e-Service.
  4. Enter the NSSF Membership Number
  5. Enter the Encoded NSSF Pin Key: The encoded key that you have obtained from the NSSF Branch Office.
  6. Enter the your KRA PIN
  7. Enter your new Password: Your new password must consist of 8-15 characters and include digits.
  8. At the Visual Verification Code field you need to enter the characters that you discern at the image directly above it. If you are uncertain about the content of the visual verification image, please click the “Refresh” link.
  9. Using your new password you will be able to access your NSSF Self Service portal

  1. National ID card (COPY)
  2. PIN number
