Located five km from the Thika Super Highway and 23 minutes (without traffic) from the Nairobi CBD, Lucky Summer estate is strategically situated between Kasarani and Kayole estates to suit residents who desire for fresh air.
The estate enjoys close proximity to the Thika Road Mall (TRM) and Safari Park Hotel, giving the residents ease of access to a high profile shopping centre and classic hangout spots. The estate has been designed to accommodate as many residents as possible while avoiding congestion, with most investors opting to set up to six-floored rental houses and apartment blocks.
Lucky Summer is located close to the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani and schools such as Landmark Primary, St Lavida High School and United States International University (USIU) – Africa. The estate has recently embarked on tarmacking of roads in the area to ease transport. Public transport includes motorcyclists, taxi and matatus.
Fares to city centre depend on time and weather. Fares to town range from Sh80 during the morning rush hour and Sh50 during the day to Sh70 in the evenings. Unfortunately, the estate experiences irregular and unexpected power shortages and water supplies. Since the onset construction of a new tarmac road, there have been challenges accessing some sections of the area.
