Ardhisasa, is a land resource management platform that is designed to enhance efficiency in record-keeping, quick transactions and curb fraudulent deals at the Ministry of Lands.
The launch now means the ministry has ended the manual application of land documents and services.
The digitization of land services has, however, begun in Nairobi and will be rolled out in other counties in phases.
The Aridhisasa platform will ensure that missing files, perennial fraud, corruption and illegal land transactions will be a thing of the past when this programme is eventually rolled out throughout the country. Through the system, all land belonging to govt, learning and research institutions, national/cultural sites, protected community land and public utilities countrywide has been secured from encroachment or acquisition by unscrupulous speculators.
The new system saying it is a game-changer in efficient service delivery. It is projected to save on huge cost incurred in offering services manually. Ardhisasa will provide a standardized and integrated online platform to enable customers to access land registration services seamlessly. It will also make land management processes efficient, cost-effective and timely. The process of registering customers for transactions in the system has begun.
